To analyze, through an integrative review, the effectiveness of Bionator in the treatment of Class II malocclusion. An integrative review of the literature was carried out, focusing on articles published between 2017 and 2024, which address the use of Bionator in the treatment of patients with Class II malocclusion. The research was conducted through a search in databases, including original scientific studies and systematic reviews. The results indicate that Bionator is effective in the treatment of Class II, especially when used in patients in the growth phase. Early use of the device favors bone remodeling and improves mandibular position, while in adults, the treatment may take longer and present less evident results. Adherence to the use of the device is a critical factor, as there is a lack of commitment on the part of the patient, compromising the results. The combination of Bionator with other orthodontic treatments in more severe cases has shown good results, although the device is more effective when used alone in mild to moderate malocclusions. The study concludes that the Bionator is an effective option for Class II malocclusion treatment, especially when used early and with adequate patient compliance. For optimal results, close monitoring and, in some cases, a combination with other orthodontic approaches are necessary. The use of the Bionator offers a non-invasive solution with good long-term results for patients who are committed to treatment.
